The National Arts Month is celebrated annually throughout February by Presidential Proclamation No. 683 in 1991. It aims to celebrate the artistic excellence and pay tribute to the uniqueness and diversity of the Filipino heritage and culture. The events and activities that take place during this month are geared toward showcasing the artistic talent of Filipinos, as well as providing avenues for artists to channel their creative energies.
In line with this year’s celebration, The City Government of Ilagan under the vibrant and outstanding leadership of Mayor Josemarie L. Diaz, DMD, MBA, through the City Tourism Office and in partnership with the Office of Hon. Jay Eveson C. Diaz, RN, MPA, and the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office, successfully conducted the following activities and competitions showcasing the artistic and superb talents and skills of Ilagueños in the field of performing arts;

Cultural concert featuring the student-performers of Isabela National High School (Feb. 😎 and the Abbayao Pangkat Mananayaw of Isabela State University Ilagan Campus (Feb. 9)
Spoken Word Poetry Competition and Rap Battle (Feb. 10)
Cosplay Competition and Sining Na Gagabay sa Kabataang Ilagueño (SINAG) Concert (Feb. 11)
Zumba sa Pag-ibig Village and Music Fest (Feb. 12)
Couple Duet Song Competition and Music Fest (Feb. 13)
VALENTINES DAY Special featuring Guest Celebrity, DARREN EAPANTO (Feb. 14, Pag-ibig Village)
The National Arts Month 2023 banners the theme: “Ani ng Sining, Bunga ng Galing”.
The City’s celebration of the NAM became more meaningful and significant by the presence of the Regional Director of the Department of Tourism Region 2, Dr. Troy Alexander G Miano ,🤩🤗😊
